YOKE Necklaces

I know i've been quiet for a while now because there are so many things happening in school! A lot of you may know that we almost had a "sembreak" during August because of all the typhoon suspensions and holidays that occured during that month. Sadly, all of our professors are rushing right now with all the academic requirements especially with Feasib and Thesis this September because we do not have much time left for this semester.

While i was busy doing some school work, a package arrived and i think i know what's inside! :) Those were the YOKE necklaces that i ordered! 

Now what is a YOKE necklace?

YOKE stands for Your One-stop shop by Kzar Eusebio. It is all about cotton made neck pieces and accessories which is a better and more fashionable alternative for scarves. It is 100% handmade and every time you order, there will be i think a week of waiting time before you can have your necklace. Since the neck pieces are made-to-order, you can definitely customize the design with your own color of choice. 

I bought my first YOKE shirtcessory months ago and i am addicted to it. YOKE releases different collections and designs almost every season. A month ago, The Holiday and Cotton Candy Collections were released. I added the link of both collections so you can check it out.

What i love about YOKE necklaces is that i can wear them for both hot and cold weather. I use the thicker ones instead of wearing a jacket or scarf when it's slightly raining or it's cold. YOKE also released thinner and lighter designs for the hot weather. It's not irritating to wear compared to metal or steel necklaces because it's made from very soft cotton. I have a tendency to sweat that much and the color of some of my necklaces fades whenever i wear them on a very hot day. I'm very thankful that won't happen to my YOKE shirtcessories.

I also like the fact that it's very eye catching. There wasn't a time that i wore a YOKE necklace and people didn't notice it. A lot of my friends have asked me where i got this fancy accessory. I wear this to school over a plain shirt or tank and i prefer that but you can also go wild by wearing this over a printed dress or top. Print on print styles are very trendy these days.

Birthday Haul + Updates

Hello! I haven't been posting in a while because it was my birthday last August 17! I celebrated for 3 days with my family, classmates, and friends that's why I've been very busy!

There are a lot of things which i love about celebrating my birthday. First, you get a LOT of birthday greetings! Social networking has been very helpful that even my friends abroad was able to greet me. Thank you for those who greeted me!

Second, i get to see the people i love during my birthday! I ate dinner, partied, shopped with my family and a couple of my friends to celebrate and it was a lot of fun!

Lastly, GIFTS! I love shopping and getting gifts for my birthday! Either it was given to me or i bought those stuff for my birthday, i love it! This year, i got random stuff as presents. I thought i would get a lot of make up but whenever i go to a make up store or counter, i feel like there's nothing i wanted to get! Maybe after a week or two?

Haul: Bench Clothing Store

It's really hard for me to do a haul blog post with just pictures! that's why i prefer doing haul videos! I got some items from Bench recently for the Sihae in Manila promo. For a purchase of at least 1000php, you get a raffle ticket which gives you a chance to win a pass for the event on the 15th of August.

The results were released yesterday and i cannot express how happy i am when i saw my name on the list. I was shocked because i haven't won a raffle in a long time. Not even once i think. 

The items that i got are mostly basics! It's the rainy season that's why i love wearing cardigans, jackets, and blazers most of the time. I cannot wear the same undershirt every time. I've always loved Bench shirts and i am glad i got more of those this time.

I also got a glittery scarf and i guess that is my favorite for the whole haul! I am planning to get more colors!

SuperSale Bazaar 2012

I just noticed that this weekend has been a shopping weekend for me! After the Great Northern Sale, here comes the SuperSale Bazaar held at the World Trade Center! My mom and i have been waiting for this and i kind of prepared myself (money-wise) for this shopping escapade.

We arrived at the venue at around 12nn and we were very hungry so before we get inside we decided to have lunch first. After that, we went browsing some stalls and it's how funny that we kind of had like a system in shopping. First, we browsed everything! We checked all the stalls on what stuff they got but we didn't buy anything yet. After one round, we started again and that's the time where we bought some stuff. It's kind of tiring (our system) but i think we got the best items for ourselves since we had a system.  I think my mom's thinner than me so it's very easy for her to shop some clothes (sad). She bought some tops and shorts of different kinds and i got some clothes too! And of course make up! I wasn't able to take pictures of everything i got but here's some pictures from the event!

I forgot the name of the store where we got these shorts but it was only for 199php. The girls in my family (Mom, Me, Sister) wear shorts on an everyday basis and i think we have more shorts than pants. After seeing the price, i think my mom was very decided that we should have one. There were a lot of designs to choose from and i chose this kind of rugged maong shorts.

I am a follower of Say Tioco Artillero on youtube, blogger and twitter so i am aware that she's going to be attending the event during that day. As we passed by the Makeup Hub by Naturele Collezione she was there and she immediately said hi as she saw us. She's very friendly and giggly and as i was going through the products of the stall she was talking to my mom because my mom doesn't wear makeup that much, only the basics so maybe she thought my mom was getting bored while i was shopping and that was very nice of her. After i got my purchases which was 2 eyeliners from Miners Cosmetics in the shade of Ivy and Indigo, we had a picture from her camera and my camera! This shot was from my camera of course! and the other one is found on her blog.

My mom was supposed to have her brows done by Say but her eyebrows were kind of "messy" that day and Say wasn't able to bring her tweezers with her.

I am with the owner of the store where i got 2 very beautiful colored blazers! I got one in royal blue and one in red! I was supposed to get just one but she gave me a discount if i buy two and that's it! I got the same kind of blazer in 2 different colors! I am very happy with the clothes i got from her store and i am very excited to wear those! I hope the weather here in the Philippines would allow me!

I think we got a little bit busy while shopping that we forgot to take more pictures! I also didn't take pictures of the things my mom bought! This is a shot after we are done shopping! Yes, we shop fast!

Before going home we had some snacks and bought the oreo cheesecake cookie and red velvet cupcakes from Sophie's Mom! I love the oreo cheesecake cookie but i think i have tasted better red velvet cupcakes but this ones not that bad.

That was my experience, i definitely had fun and i hope i will be here on the next one! :) Anyone who went there too?
