Tony Moly Haul

It's sembreak! My last one! I haven't posted in ages because school has been crazy and what a better way to have a comeback than a haul post, right? (eeeecckk). Anyway, SM Fairview is on sale for this weekend and i was very happy to know Tony Moly Boutique also had their own 50% off sale for selected items!

I didn't even think twice right after school, i went straight to their boutique! It was nice to see some old and new faces in their store. I think i went there so many times that almost all Tony Moly SM Fairview branch store assistants are like my friends already. They know what are my favorites and which products i do not want! They also update me with their new collections and stuff. I believe they're also the reason why Tony Moly has been my favorite Korean cosmetic brand so far.

Moving on with the haul, almost all the items that i got are on sale! If not, i badly needed the item or it was part of the new collection.

I got 2 lip glosses from their latest collection, the Cat's Wink Collection. I've been meaning to do a review on this one because i have to say, i have been using this as a lipstick instead of a gloss and it works great.

I am kind of addicted to luminous products recently and Tony Moly has been releasing products to satisfy my luminous needs in my make up collection. First i was able to try their Goddess Aura BB Cream and i love it. This time, i am trying out this Luminous Sheer Base and let's see what it can do.

Another colored gel liner! I have the turquoise one which i used in my Funky Town Make Up Tutorial (click HERE) I can't wait to try out this one!

I also got the Mineral Skin-fit Snow Blusher! It's more of a gel to liquid type of blush and i have yet to try this type. I am more of a powder-cream blush person and this will be a nice product to experiment with.

This one's an essential! I need make-up remover/cleansing tissues especially when i go out. It's easier to bring and doesn't take up a lot of space in my make up bag.

Party Lover Crystal Eye Decoration - it's an eyeliner and eyeshadow in one product and it comes with a lot a fun colors. It's the only color left and luckily i don't have this shade yet.

My first ever colored mascara. I was supposed to use this for my graduation pictorial but there were change of plans! One of my professors use this color on her lashes as well and i think i would love to try this as well.

Lastly, the Cat's Wink Mascara! You can choose either curling and voluming that comes with lengthening. Of course, i purchased the voluming one. I always experiment on my mascara and i hope this product will always be available since so far, it has been a promising one.

Birthday Haul + Updates

Hello! I haven't been posting in a while because it was my birthday last August 17! I celebrated for 3 days with my family, classmates, and friends that's why I've been very busy!

There are a lot of things which i love about celebrating my birthday. First, you get a LOT of birthday greetings! Social networking has been very helpful that even my friends abroad was able to greet me. Thank you for those who greeted me!

Second, i get to see the people i love during my birthday! I ate dinner, partied, shopped with my family and a couple of my friends to celebrate and it was a lot of fun!

Lastly, GIFTS! I love shopping and getting gifts for my birthday! Either it was given to me or i bought those stuff for my birthday, i love it! This year, i got random stuff as presents. I thought i would get a lot of make up but whenever i go to a make up store or counter, i feel like there's nothing i wanted to get! Maybe after a week or two?

Haul: The Face Shop + VIP Club 20

If you follow me on instagram or twitter (@deynakim), you would know that i accidentally ended my make up shopping ban :( It was a random day at the mall and i was there because i was going to buy my birthday gift for my sister, Erin. While i was at Toy Kingdom, my friend Blessie texted me that the Face Shop now has a VIP card for its buyers.

I think The Face Shop is one of the few korean cosmetic brands which doesn't have a membership card. The ones i always go to has and i think having a membership card can be a factor if you want customers to go back to you store.

The VIP card costs 150 php and you don't have to purchase anything to get it. You also get a lot of freebies once you avail the VIP card. It's sad that it's not a PVC-type of card because that would be more durable. I am planning to laminate this one but i am not yet decided.

The VIP card comes with a gift pack and i swear it contains a lot of items. This skincare set they gave is good for 1-2 weeks of usage.

Power Perfection BB Cream in Natural Beige

I use this BB Cream and i am very happy that this is included in the freebies. These trial packs are very suitable for travelling.

Natural Sun Power Long-Lasting Sun Cream

I gave this to my Mom since she tends to use sun cream a lot. She's going to Hong Kong soon so i guess she can bring this with her.

E'Thym Water Recharge Essence

I am using a difference treatment cream right now so i guess i will have to save this for future use. This is for moisturizing purposes.

Clean Face Special Gift Set (Clean Face Mild Toner + Clean Face Mild Lotion)

Another travel sized skin regimen. Perfect for travelling. My skin care routine is complete as of now so like the E'Rhythm Essence, i'll save this for later.

Real Nature Mask Lemon

I love face masks! I use them almost everyday! It's the first time i got a face mask with Kim Hyun Joong's face on it. I only have Nature Republic Masks with JYJ's pictures. If i am a super big fan of Kim Hyun Joong, i won't even use this. This is a collectible. But if ever i ran out i think i will have to use this. Good thing i still have other face masks right now so this will be stuck in my skin care tub for the mean time.

I thought i'll be leaving the store after i purchased the VIP card but no! I browsed some items because they have new items from the last time i went there. There were also new collections and the best of all, SALE ITEMS!

As soon as i saw the sale items corner i knew i would get some. Here are the items that i got,

Real Nature Mask Rice

This was on sale! I haven't tried this one but the sales assistant said that this is good for brightening purposes which i love.

Make Me Star Waterproof Gel Liner (Beige and Indigo Blue)

I have been collecting a lot of colored liners recently. I feel in love with the pigmentation of these liners as soon as i tried it on my hands. I was supposed to get a regular eye pencil but the price of the pencil and gel and just the same. I would take a gel liner over a pencil liner anytime. Also, i have noticed that almost all eyeliners from The Face Shop has a smudge brush on the other end and that's a bonus.

Lovely ME:EX Auto Eye-liner (01 Black and 02 Black Brown)

These are staple products for me because i ran out easily. It's the first time i'm trying the Lovely ME:EX's eyeliners because they're on sale. I only used the eyebrow pencil and lip liner and both have satisfied my taste. I hope this one does it's magic too. Again, it comes with a smudge brush on the other end of the liner.

Mini Pet Floral Hand Cream

I noticed this hand cream the first time i saw this! I just do not want to purchase this because of the price. Good thing this product went on sale so i immediately got this. I use hand creams on an everyday basis and i also made a video where i showed my collection (http://youtu.be/VA8KbhkJVHs). I am very excited to use this because i am in love with its floral scent.

What i love about Korean Brands is that the more you purchase the more freebies! I got some of these items for free!

SuperSale Bazaar 2012

I just noticed that this weekend has been a shopping weekend for me! After the Great Northern Sale, here comes the SuperSale Bazaar held at the World Trade Center! My mom and i have been waiting for this and i kind of prepared myself (money-wise) for this shopping escapade.

We arrived at the venue at around 12nn and we were very hungry so before we get inside we decided to have lunch first. After that, we went browsing some stalls and it's how funny that we kind of had like a system in shopping. First, we browsed everything! We checked all the stalls on what stuff they got but we didn't buy anything yet. After one round, we started again and that's the time where we bought some stuff. It's kind of tiring (our system) but i think we got the best items for ourselves since we had a system.  I think my mom's thinner than me so it's very easy for her to shop some clothes (sad). She bought some tops and shorts of different kinds and i got some clothes too! And of course make up! I wasn't able to take pictures of everything i got but here's some pictures from the event!

I forgot the name of the store where we got these shorts but it was only for 199php. The girls in my family (Mom, Me, Sister) wear shorts on an everyday basis and i think we have more shorts than pants. After seeing the price, i think my mom was very decided that we should have one. There were a lot of designs to choose from and i chose this kind of rugged maong shorts.

I am a follower of Say Tioco Artillero on youtube, blogger and twitter so i am aware that she's going to be attending the event during that day. As we passed by the Makeup Hub by Naturele Collezione she was there and she immediately said hi as she saw us. She's very friendly and giggly and as i was going through the products of the stall she was talking to my mom because my mom doesn't wear makeup that much, only the basics so maybe she thought my mom was getting bored while i was shopping and that was very nice of her. After i got my purchases which was 2 eyeliners from Miners Cosmetics in the shade of Ivy and Indigo, we had a picture from her camera and my camera! This shot was from my camera of course! and the other one is found on her blog.

My mom was supposed to have her brows done by Say but her eyebrows were kind of "messy" that day and Say wasn't able to bring her tweezers with her.

I am with the owner of the store where i got 2 very beautiful colored blazers! I got one in royal blue and one in red! I was supposed to get just one but she gave me a discount if i buy two and that's it! I got the same kind of blazer in 2 different colors! I am very happy with the clothes i got from her store and i am very excited to wear those! I hope the weather here in the Philippines would allow me!

I think we got a little bit busy while shopping that we forgot to take more pictures! I also didn't take pictures of the things my mom bought! This is a shot after we are done shopping! Yes, we shop fast!

Before going home we had some snacks and bought the oreo cheesecake cookie and red velvet cupcakes from Sophie's Mom! I love the oreo cheesecake cookie but i think i have tasted better red velvet cupcakes but this ones not that bad.

That was my experience, i definitely had fun and i hope i will be here on the next one! :) Anyone who went there too?

The Great Northern Sale

The Great Northern Sale is the biggest sale season of SM North Edsa held every year. This 2012, it's held from July 13-15. Luckily my class last July 13 dismissed us as early as 9:30. I didn't go immediately to SM North Edsa because i don't want to wait outside the mall with lots of people especially that day.

i arrived there at around 10:30am and i know already where i wanted to go and that is at the SM Department Store because of three reasons. First, because the gift that i am giving my friend, Regina for her birthday today (Happy Birthday Reg!) is found there. Second, Maybelline offers 20% off to almost all of their products and Third, SM offers and additional 10% discount from 10am-12nn if you have the SM Advantage Card, BDO Rewards, or SM Prestige card.

I was surprised that i got everything i want in 2 hours! and here's what i bought :) After shopping at SM department store i went to Tony Moly, Missha, and Tomato. It seems like i already know what will i buy for this sale that's why i was able to save a lot of time. Here's the items that i got from each store.

I didn't include the one i got from Tomato but basically i got a hot pink top, an orange jacket, and a white jacket of the same design. All at 50% off.

At SM Department Store, i immediately looked for the brushes that i am going to give my friend, Regina and those are the N30 and N32 brushes from Marionnaud. I have the same brushes and both of these are included in my top 5 favorite brush. When Regina saw these, she said she would but the same thing. I hope she haven't bought these brushes yet HAHA i'll find out later. I bought the N30 Large Powder Brush for 180php (200php originally) and N32 Blush Brush for 122.4php (136.00php originally). The next one that i got is the Maybelline Magnum (waterproof). I use this mascara for everyday and whenever there's a sale, i always get one because i get up to 30% discount for this item. This item originally costs 399php and because Maybelline offers 20% discount, it's supposedly 319.20. But then again, i have an extra 10% because of my SM Advantage card so i got my favorite mascara for only 287.28! (What a bargain). This would be my back up in case my Magnum runs out already. Then i got a lip liner in purple. I bought it from the James Cooper section but i am not sure if that's the brand because it doesn't say like it. It says Aqua Germany and this costs around 130php (145php originally). I also got the FX Moroccan Moisture Miracle Argan Oil Leave-in Spray. I find my hair very boring that's why i just want to take care of it at the very least. I am trying out different brands of moisturizing hair spray/mist and i am gonna try this brand for the first time. The hair mist costs around 359php (originally 399php). The last thing that i got from SM Department Store is the Buy1 Take1 City Lady Pantyhose stockings in Safari. I just had to urge to buy this because for this semester, we have a lot of reporting and i am enrolled to my pre-practicum class which both requires the use of stockings.

I was supposed to get some stuff from the Tony Moly section at the SM Department store but they didn't have the product i am looking for and they don't acknowledge the Tony Moly Membership Card so i went to their retail store and i got the Clear Water Lip & Eye Remover. This is not the make up remover i am using but the sales lady talked me into buying this type because you get a free Cats Wink Mascara when you purchase the item. The make up remover was originally 389php and the mascara is at 348php. I got both for 548php which is not bad. Another thing that i got from Tony Moly is their Backstage Gel Liner in #7 which is the turquoise color. I am using this for my sister's 7th birthday on August :)

The last store i went to was the Missha retail store. It was said on their facebook fan page that they had items at 70% off so i wanted to check it out. I also know that their face masks are on sale and i need to refill my stock. The sales lady kind of bothered me there because she kept on offering items and suggesting stuff which i hate. HAHA not really hate but i think stuff that i am not fond of. I must not take it against her because it's normal that we are not of the same taste but i think she must sense that the items i am asking are the opposite of what she's offering. In the end, i got the The Style Lucid Berry Lips in Baby Pink and The Style Powder Eyes in Shimmering Gold for 399php (originally 1330). I also purchased their buy1 take1 face mask and i got the Blueberry Sheet Mask for 120php.

If you haven't been in the Great Northern Sale i suggest you do! There are a lot of great finds and this only happens once a year so don't miss it. :)
